Yemen is based in the middle east region, located in the south of Arabian Peninsula bordering the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden and Red Sea, west of Oman and south of Saudi Arabia.

Yemen is divided into 23 governorates with population of more than 32 million people. The main cities are Sana'a(the capital),Aden, Al Hudaydah, Al Mukallah and Taiz. Yemen is the only republic in the Arabian Peninsula.
